Our Day in Our Words......

-Today was a half day but a busy one
-We had a review of what Open House might look like
-Mr. Neilly talked to us about how to help our parents tonight when they visit our class
-Ms. Danchuk and Mr. Kai helped us finish our poems and portraits then hung them outside the classrooms
-Mid-morning we had an outdoor break and snack
-With Mr. Campbell and Mr. Neilly we played math games and worked on a number game in the gathering space
-They then performed a magic trick for us but we think we figured it out
-Ms. Danchuk then read to us from "The Spyglass"
-We finished the morning by attending the Peace Assembly which was lead by the other 3/4 Pod
-Finally we came back to class to sing a Jack Johnson song entitled "My Own Two Hands"

Reminders:

There is no school Friday due to a PD day.

The annual Eric Harvie Terry Fox Run is taking place on Friday, September 28.  We are teaming up with Twelve Mile Coulee School and Tuscany School this year.  Each school requires at least 45 volunteers.  EHS requires 40 course volunteers who will be stationed along the course (with an option of running) and five food volunteers.
Please see the Sign Up Genius for information and to volunteer:
