During Literacy half the pod dissected the poem "In Flanders Fields" in their visual journals. While the other half created and wrote phrases using similes.
We had indoor snack and read "The Hatchet" as a class.
After snack we "read to self" or did "work on writing".
In the afternoon we reviewed skip counting, and explored word problems and problem solving strategies. Some students created and worked with patterning.
The who;e pod had a big outdoor break in the beautiful weather.
Hope Pod had their first music class with Ms. Blankhorn.
We finished the day trying to complete our coulee posters.
