Our day in our words...
- At snack time we learned some more French. We learned how to tell people how we are feeling and to ask others how they are.
- In Daily 5 we continued to work on writing, word work and reading. Some of us did our book club. In my book club I wrote a poem about one of the characters in my book. Some of us discussed what happened in the past chapter and will be making a web about a main character's characteristics.
- In Math we continued to work on our shape diagrams for our building challenge that is happening either late this week or next week. I think the cube will be the strongest shape because it is made of squares and this is the most stable shape to hold the book.
- We read about Malala, a person from Pakistan who wasn't allowed to go to school. She wanted girls to be able to go school. She went to the United Nations to speak about this.
- In PE we practiced basketball skills like passing and shooting. We worked with partners and passed them the ball. They would shoot and then we had to go to the back of the line and do this again.
Ask me about...
what I am constructing with Mr Campbell during inquiry. The prototypes we are creating are helping us develop construction skills which will help us when we construct our community.
