Our day in our words...
We were fortunate to have a presentation today from Olympian, Catriona Le May Doan, today. She spoke to us about her dream of becoming an Olympian, the hard work and belief in herself to achieve the goal as well as her experiences as an Olympic athlete. She gave us many great messages to take away as we goal set and overcome challenges. In math we have begun to explore perimeter. We are using measurement to justify whether we would rather 5 laps of the gym or 1 lap of our field. In inquiry we continued to work on our symbolic drawings of the animal we researched. They are looking fabulous!Ask me about...
what message I took away from Catriona Le May Doan's presentation today.
