Our day in our words...
- This morning we did read to self and swimming. In one group we learned how to dive into the pool by doing a roll into the water. Another group did 5 laps of the dive tank. In another group they did a couple of lengths of breast stroke.
- We have been awesome at getting ready for the pool and to go home. Our teachers think we are rock stars!
- Today we had DEAR time throughout the day. One of the craziest places someone had to Drop Everything and Read was in the bathroom!
- In Math we did a pre-assessment for multiplication. This will help our teachers know what we already know about this concept. When we finished we got to finish our symmetry mandalas or play Circles and Stars or Multiplication Kaboom.
- Today in inquiry we read books about our topics. The research group read about how our community could have clean air, water and make sure everyone has food. Another group explored 2 songs and thought about the rubric which will be used for assessing the songs we will be making. In Mr. Kai's group we began creating a storyboard for our video.
